In 2006, The Wiseman Company and Cornerstone Properties Group formed a joint venture to address an important urban marketplace opportunity.

The mission statement of the new venture clearly defines the entity’s task: “To find urban infill development opportunities; determine the highest and best use for the land; work through the planning process to fully entitle the property for the determined use; and either sell the entitled package to the appropriate builder, joint venture with the builder to complete the project, or build and hold the project for rental. At all times our focus is on quality development coupled with a desire to leave the land and the community in an enhanced state as a result of our efforts.

The new venture operates as the Infill Division of The Wiseman Company under the direction of Scot Hunter as managing partner and CEO. Current projects in various stages of development include high density for sale and for rent residential and commercial properties on infill sites in Solano, Napa, Yolo and Sacramento Counties.
