John Barkey, Chief Financial Officer


John Barkey is The Wiseman Company’s Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, John spent six years in the public homebuilding industry, as a VP of Acquisitions for Taylor Morrison Homes in San Ramon, CA, as VP of Development for Pulte Homes/Del Webb in Sacramento, California, and as a Division President for Taylor Morrison Homes in Reno, Nevada. Prior to that, John held a variety of positions at Catellus Development Corporation (now an industrial REIT owned by Pro-Logis) in San Francisco, including Vice-President of Development and Director of Financial Planning. At Catellus, in the last few years he was there, John worked extensively on the Mission Bay project in San Francisco, which is now the location of UCSF’s new 2.6 million square foot research campus, over 5 million feet of new and planned office space, and over 6,000 units of new and planned attached housing. Prior to Catellus, John had worked for Price Waterhouse in New Port Beach, California. He has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of California, Irvine.

Brian Wills, Director of Development


Brian Wills is The Wiseman Company’s Director of Development. A native of Pacifica, CA, Brian attended Long Beach State before cycling professionally in Europe for one year. Before joining the Wiseman Company in 2004, he was a director of summer camps for 8 years. Brian is responsible for the planning, development and construction of the company’s new Class A office buildings and all tenant improvement work associated with space leased.

Kirk Hull, Commercial BrokerKirk smaller


Kirk Hull, Commercial Broker, is responsible for the company’s brokerage activities. Mr. Hull graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a degree in Economics. For the past sixteen years, he has specialized in office leasing and the sale of investment properties. He joined The Wiseman Company in 1991, and was previously associated with TRI Commercial Brokers. Mr. Hull is also a Fairfield native.

R. Scot Hunter, Infill Development Joint Venture


Scot Hunter is the Infill Division’s Managing Partner and CEO. As the owner of Cornerstone Properties Group, Inc. Scot has been an active real estate investor and developer for the past decade. Prior to entering the real estate field, he helped build several companies in the health care field working as an owner or consultant. A graduate of Northern Michigan University, he is a licensed California real estate broker and a member of the Urban Land Institute. Scot and his family have been residents of Ross in Marin County for over 25 years. He is active in Ross town government and community activities and is an avid road and mountain biker. Scot works out of his office in Ross and can be reached at 415.990.9911.

Tai Le

Tai Le, Broker Associate


Tai Le is The Wiseman Company’s Broker Associate. He specializes in commercial properties, specifically office buildings throughout Solano/East Bay, Napa, Yolo, and Sacramento County. Currently, Mr. Le is responsible for leasing The Wiseman Company office portfolio, which consists of 348,000 square feet of office space throughout Napa, Solano, and Yolo County. Mr. Le began his career at Marcus and Millichap and Coldwell Banker, where he participated in transaction sales of multi-family, manufactured home communities, and residential investments. Prior to joining The Wiseman Company, he participated in the management and operations of large commercial properties in West Sacramento and Downtown Sacramento. A native of San Diego, Tai Le attended the University of California, Riverside and earned his degree in Business Administration, with a minor in Law and Project Management in 2007. In addition, he was the Area Governor for Toastmasters International in 2008 in the Inland Empire and a member of the Lion’s Club in San Diego from 2009-2010. Currently, he is a member of Rotary International and AREAA (Asian Real Estate Association of America). Through The Wiseman Company, Mr. Le is also a member of the Napa, Vacaville, and Fairfield Chamber of Commerce.
